The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory today announced the election results of the iSCSI Consortium Steering Committee for the coming year.

The elected representatives include:
Jim Bernard, Director -- Strategic Development, Adaptec
Dave Peterson, Lead Architect -- Storage Technology Group, Cisco Systems
John Dowdy, Coordinator -- iSCSI Architecture and Strategy, IBM Storage Systems Group

The iSCSI Consortium is a multi-vendor industry body formed to advance interoperability of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) iSCSI standard. The consortium was established in 2001 under the sponsorship of the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL).
The central task for the elected chairpersons will be to guide the development of testing technology within the UNH-IOL iSCSI Consortium for the benefit of industry and students. The consortium's goal is to encourage the widespread implementation of interoperable iSCSI products in the marketplace by developing and administering standard testing procedures across the industry.
